My wife and I are writing this letter in appreciation of The Egan•Welch Team. This spring, we began looking for a realtor to represent our interests in selling our home. Our neighbor described their wonderful experience with them as agents. We had already spoken to another agency, but had not made plans. So, we contacted Pat & Tara to meet with us and discuss our situation.
Pat & Tara arrived at our home prepared and confident that they would be our best choice. They exuded confidence and professionalism and demonstrated their knowledge of the industry. However, the one thing that continues to stand out in retrospect is Pat & Tara.
They worked very close with us to prepare our home for showings. Pat & Tara gave us candid feedback on the appearance of our home in a way that made us feel involved in the decision. My wife and I feel that their input was critical in allowing us to maximize the sale price. They always took time to thank my wife for her efforts in getting the house ready for showings. Again, here is a situation (getting the house ready for showing) that an agent expects a seller to do, yet Pat & Tara made it sound as if my wife had practically sold the home because, "it looked so nice". We all know that it is the agent who sells the home, but we keep coming back to the way Pat & Tara make you feel as a seller that puts them above the rest.
Pat & Tara were always available to provide feedback on showings, questions about preparing our home for showings and re-filling our box of brochures. Their constant attention to market values as it relates to the business and our location were invaluable. Another thing that struck us was the number of agencies that came to show our house. Here again, Pat & Tara's genuine concern is for the customer. They absolutely made us feel like we were the only home they were selling. I don't know how many homes at any one time an agent has, but what really mattered to us was the personal attention they gave.
In closing, we wanted to write you a letter to express our gratitude. Our home was sold for more than we thought we could get and quicker than we thought it would sell. The Egan•Welch Team always made us feel like we had friends "in the business", with a team behind them.
